Over the last year, I’ve met with many IT Managers on the topic of how they are backing up their data. After a number of similar conversations, it dawned on me that even with many of the new storage technologies out today, that many companies are still using the same backup technologies and processes that have existed for the last 30 years. With the massive growth of data and IT managers looking for ways to cut costs out of IT, why isn’t more attention focused on backup and recovery?
