I’m going to be completely honest. I may have developed a cloud storage addiction. Currently, I’m subscribed to a number of services including DropBox, Google Drive, Box.
The biggest thing in data storage since sliced bread seems to have been the ability to access and save data to the “Cloud”. As technology changes, typically questions arise about its integrity, its dependability, and what should actually be saved. To me, cloud storage security can vary with the various companies that offer the service.
Data is worth more than the dollar if – no – when a person is compromised by a malicious attacker. Not a physical attack but an attack based on compromising insecure data. What is data being defined as here?
